Supporting Housing in Tennessee

The 2025 Initial Licensing/Certification & Continuing Education Courses closed at 4:00 pm CST/5:00 pm EST, on Friday, December 5, 2025. The 2025 course curriculums are currently being archived.  There will be no access granted to these classes, after the posted closing date.

• For initial licensing or certification students:  
  • For all students who completed the educational curriculum by December 5, 2025, but did not secure a testing appointment before the deadline, testing appointments for state exams will resume on or after January 5, 2026.  (If you completed your education, you will schedule a testing appointment as soon as they become available, via the testing link provided to you.)
    
• For those students who completed educational curriculums, including state exams: 
  • The State of Tennessee, Commerce & Insurance, will accept initial license/certification and renewal application packages through 12/12/2025.  The last two weeks of December are set aside for processing, recording, and reporting.  Packages received after 12/12/2025, will be processed in early January.

• Annually, after posted educational closing dates, THA staff begins year end state reporting, as well as onboarding the new educational season of course curriculums.  

• The 2026 educational classes will open on January 5th.
